 Family Day Picnic & Kayaking WHEN: Sunday, September 21st beginning at 1:00pm
WHERE: West River Center off Chalk Point Road
FOOD: Bring a picnic lunch and/or something to grill. If you feel so moved, please bring something to share.
ACTIVITIES: Canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards will be available. Bring a lawn game, or walk the trails, or just hang out. If you own a kayak, please consider bringing it with you as there is a limited number of kayaks/canoes/paddle boards available for use.
COST: The Christian Formation Committee is covering the costs of pavilion and water equipment rental fees, as well as entrance fees. On Sunday, September 21st after the 11:00am service, we will be heading over to West River Center to enjoy some grilling and kayaking/canoeing. Monday, September 22nd is National Family Day so what better way to celebrate than to spend the afternoon eating and being on the water.
Bring a picnic lunch, and a kayak if you have one (or you can rent one from West River Center). We have a pavilion reserved for us, so come and join the fun, bring the whole family. There are other self-led activities besides kayaking. All those under the age of 18 must have parental supervision. For more information on West River Camp, please click the link below.
