Pizza & Bible Study for Youth (grades 6-12)-

Starting in October we will begin a monthly Bible study for youth grade 6 through grade 12.

The Middle School youth (grades 6 - 8) will be meeting on the second Monday of the month. The first session will be Oct. 13th

The High School youth (grades 9 -12) will be meeting on the fourth Monday of the month. The first session will be Oct. 27th.

We will meet from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.  Our time together will begin with prayer, pizza and check-in time.  We will then spend the next hour watching a short video on one of the Bible characters then, moving on to discussion time, encouraging "youth to see the similarities between themselves and their faith ancestors...Unlikely people called by God to do amazing things."

re:form Ancestors is a youth Bible study curriculum that helps older students get to know personalities from the Old and New Testaments.

Please email Dawn+ at dawncampbell@stjameslothian.com if your youth would like to join the Bible study.
Halloween Party &
Trunk-n-Treat  -

All children, ages pre-K through grade 5 are welcome to join the party, friends and relatives are welcome too! There will be food, games, and crafts, as well as treats.Beginning at 7:30pm, the kids will go into the St. James' parking lot to enjoy Trunk and Treat.

We invite our older crowd to park their cars, decorate their car/truck trunks, wear their costumes, and bring treats to hand out to the children as they stop by each trunk. We ask that the trunks be ready by 7:30pm Last year was a huge success with a parking lot full of decorated trunks.  This a fun and safe event for the children of St. James' and surrounding community.

IMPORTANT REMINDER!!
**If your child/children are attending the All Hallows' Eve Youth Lock-in, please be sure to fill out and bring with you the Youth Fellowship Form especially if you will not be staying with your child through the evening's activities. If your child/children are bringing friends with them, a separate registration form must be completed by the parent/s of that child/children. Any child who does not have a completed registration form will not be able to participate in the event without parental/guardian supervision. The registration form gives our leadership important information essential for the protection and care of your child/children. Registration forms will also be available at the event.**

We could use additional help from parents/guardians whose children are participating in the lock-in.  Please contact Dawn+ at dawncampbell@stjameslothian.com or call (410)867-2838 if you can assist with being a chaperone or with preparing breakfast.
