 The National Acolyte Festival at the National Cathedral takes place on Saturday, October 11th.
This event draws acolytes from across the country to enjoy worship and workshops designed to enhance the ministry of young people as acolytes. This year will be the first time, in many years, that St. James' Parish will be taking acolytes to the festival. In addition to this being a wonderful event for youth, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, The Most Rev. Katharine Jefferts Schori, will be presiding at the Eucharist and the service of rededication for the ministry of acolytes.
