Christian Formation Field Trip

St. James' Parish Old Herring Creeke   Christian Formation Field Trip    May 5, 2013 Christian Formation Field Trip - National Cathedral & National Zoo    WHEN: This Sunday, May 5th    WHO: For all interested - Everyone under the age of 18yrs. must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.    WHERE:  St. James' Church at 7:00am we will be meeting to board a bus leaving St. James' Church to attend the 8:30am Holy Eucharist service at the National Cathedral.  Please arrive no later than 7:00am in order that we can arrive ON TIME to the cathedral.    COST: $5 per person - payable at the time of boarding the bus, please give to Dawn+ (cash, or check made payable to St. James' Parish).     After the service, we will then walk to the National Zoo (approx. 1.5 miles) for an afternoon of furry friends and fellowship.  Please be sure to wear the appropriate footwear for a day of walking.     FOOD: BYOB (Bring Your Own Brunch)!  Please bring a bagged lunch.  We will eat either on the bus (the cathedral does not allow picnic lunches in the gardens) or outside the zoo (the zoo does not allow outside food items into the park).     The trip will occur come rain or shine!     Please sign-up no later than Friday, May 3rd to assure space on the bus!  Sign up by clicking here.  For more information contact Dawn+ at dawncampbell@stjameslothian.com.
