Christian Formation Field Trip - June 14, 2015

St. James' Parish National Shrine  Grotto of Lourdes    When: Sunday, June 14, 2015 Who's Invited: Everyone!    We will be leaving St. James' Church after the 10:00am service to go to the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg, MD on the campus of Mount St. Mary's University. Children and Youth Announcements

St. James' Parish Old Herring Creeke   Children and Youth Announcements    May 25, 2015 Senior Recognition Sunday - On Sunday, May 31st at the 9:00am service, we will be recognizing all graduating high school and college seniors.   If you have a graduating senior, please email Dawn+ at dawncampbell@stjameslothian.com and state whether they would like to receive a  Book of Common Prayer or a Bible as a gift.   **Please also include in the email a short biographical statement about your graduating senior, accomplishments and future plans. Last day of Sunday school - Sunday, May 31st will be the last day of Sunday school for the summer.   Youth Fellowship - Mark your calendars for Friday, June 19th.  We will celebrate summer with some volleyball, food, and fellowship.  Details for the evening will follow.  Stay tuned! Vacation Bible School - Vacation Bible School will be hosted by Friendship United Methodist Church this year. VBS will be June 22nd-26th from 9:00am-12:00pm. Many volunteers are needed to make this a successful event.  Please sign up by June 1st.
