Youth Confirmation Classes - Next Youth Confirmation class is Monday, May 26th from 7:00pm-8:00pm. We will be discussing Chapter 8 and 9. The date for confirmation has changed to Sunday, June 15, 2014. Bishop Eugene T. Sutton will be making a visitation to St. James' and will officiate the Rite of Confirmation for those youth who have completed the Confirmation class. There will be a youth confirmation class celebration on Saturday, May 31st beginning at 5:00pm, dinner and a movie. |

YAC Class (10th-12th grade) SCAN Supermarket Sweep - On Friday, May 16th, the YAC Class will meet at St. James' Church at 5:00pm, grab a bite to eat at The Green Turtle and then head over to the Edgewater Safeway to "sweep" up groceries for the SCAN Food Bank. We will return to St. James' and stock the shelves of the food bank. When we are done, we are done. We plan to be finished by 9:00pm. |
Christian Formation Field Trip - On Sunday, May 18th following the 11:00am service, we will depart from St. James' Church and go to the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America located in North East, D.C.
