Senior High Youth Lock-in
  
The Senior High Youth did a great job of shopping for groceries for the SCAN Food Bank on Friday, April 19th-20th. The Senior High girls won by not exceeding the $500 limit per team, allowing them to have first choice of which movie to watch after stocking the shelves of the food bank.  The Youth managed to get $1500 worth of groceries put away on shelves in good time, by midnight!  Please check St. James' Facebook page for more photos,
  
  
          J2A Pilgrimage  
The J2A class went on their pilgrimage
April 20th-21st to Lancaster, PA where they enjoyed an experience with the Amish Community, stopped by St. James' Episcopal Church, Lancaster and enjoyed a concert, and then went to Sight & Sound to experience the producation of "Noah."  The entire crew came home with smiles, having had a lot of fun.
          Province III Retreat   
The Middle-school youth went to North Bay Adventure Camp on the Chesapeake Bay
April 19th-21st, to enjoy activities and fellowship with 13 other Episcopal dioceses in Province III. They enjoyed outdoor team building activities, workshops, worship, and great music.  
Christian Rock Concert at GenXaret - Columbia, MD
Friday, April 26th GenXaret presents The Believe Tour featurning the Christian bands:
Kutless, Luminate, Ashes Remain, and NF (Nate Feuerstein)

Christian Formation Field Trip - National Cathedral & National Zoo
Sunday, May 5th for all interested, we will be leaving St. James' Church to attend a Holy Eucharist service at the National Cathedral, hopefully have a short tour, and have brunch in the Bishop's Garden.  We will then walk to the National Zoo for an afternoon of furry friends and fellowship.  The day will begin at 7:00am when we meet to board a bus and travel to Washington, DC to attend the 8:45am worship service at the National Cathedral.  The trip will occur come rain or shine!  The cost will be $5.00 per person and BYOB (Bring Your Own Brunch). Everyone under the age of 18yrs. must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
