| Youth Confirmation Classes - Next Youth Confirmation class is Monday, February 24th from 7:00pm-8:00pm. We will be discussing Chapter 5. The date for confirmation has changed to Sunday, June 15, 2014. Bishop Eugene T. Sutton will be making a visitation to St. James' and will officiate the Rite of Confirmation for those youth who have completed the Confirmation class. |
| Senior High Ski Trip - The annual Youth Ski Trip will take place at Wisp Ski Resort in Garrett County, Maryland February 14th -17th. We will depart from St. James' Church at 5:00pm Friday, Feb. 14th and return late afternoon Monday, Feb. 17th.
The lodge has been booked. The food will be purchased. The lift tickets are waiting to be bought and clipped to ski jackets. All we need is to know what youth will be joining us this year for a weekend of snow, slopes, and fellowship. In addition to all that fun in the snow, we will be having Evening Prayer on Saturday night, and Holy Eucharist on Sunday night.
The cost per youth is $275 which will cover lift tickets, rentals, and tubing for the weekend. Youth must also participate in the Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 4th.
Youth, if you are interested in taking part in the fun that will occur this weekend, please sign up as soon as possible. Depending on the numbers of participants, one friend each may be allowed to join you, but first, we need to know how many of our youth will be participating.

Looking Ahead! - March Activities
Atrium Fellowship - Sunday, March 1st from 11:30am - 1:30pm. The children will hear the story of St. Patrick of Ireland and make St. Brigid crosses. Pancake Supper - Tuesday, March 4th the youth will help make and serve pancakes and sausage to the community. The Pancake Supper is from 6:00 - 8:00pm. Youth (6th-12th grade) are asked to arrive no later than 4:30pm to review procedures, help set up, and get things ready. Bishop's Bash - Saturday, March 8th at St. John's, Ellicott City from 6:00-10:00pm. The event is for youth 7th-12th grade. We will leave St. James' Church at 5:00pm and return no later than 11:00pm. Province III Senior High Retreat (Diocesan Event) - March 14-16th, for more information on this event sponsored by the diocese click here. Acolyte Pilgrimage at St. Anne's, Annapolis - Saturday, March 29th from 9:00am-3:00pm. We will leave St. James' Church at 8:15am. Additional information and sign-up will be sent out the beginning of March. |
